Porcupine Press 21st Birthday Bash
Do you remember when you turned 21 years old? It seemed like you would never get there and then one day it really happens. You become, what some people consider, that age mark that you have to reach to be considered an adult. Then you want to have that birthday party, you want it to be the party that tops all other birthday parties. You feel you earned it and deserve it. You know that you can only have one big 21st birthday party in a life time. You are also sure, that no other birthday will be more important.
Well, that is exactly why this party has been turned over to the proven best promoters in the business, and the cheapest. Toivo and Eino have been chosen to put on the Porcupine Press Birthday Bash, the likes of which have never been seen before in the Sauna Belt Area. Belvedere, the mascot for the Porcupine Press since its first edition will be the Honorary Chairman of the whole event.
The first thing the notorious duo did in organizing for this event was to notify the beer makers that they would need to start gearing up for the event. Next they booked the biggest place around to hold the P.P. Birthday Bash and nailed down the Alger County Fair Grounds, that just happens to be in Downtown Chatham, Michigan and the home of the World Headquarters to the Porcupine Press Publication. It is also the town of Toivo and Einos favorite watering hole, the Village Pub. Having made special arrangements with Bob the owner, this fine establishment will be headquarters for their promotional effort on behalf of the Bash. The dates grabbed are August 27, 28 and 29th, 2010, mark that down and start making plans to be there, for this once in a life time event.
Toivo and Eino's first major promotional snag was to get a full commitment from their favorite female celebrity Kimmy Cruz. If you have attended any major biking events like; Daytona Bike Week, Biketoberfest, Myrtle Beach Bike Week or Sturgis, you most likely saw her there. Next the guys started working on bands to keep the place rocking through the whole event. T & E Promotions has only been working on this for less than a week and the already have a band booked; "The North Country Band" from Cederville, MI. Then they even locked in a mechanical bull riding attraction.
So the guys ask that you keep checking out this page on UPmag.net and The Captains Blog for more details as we have them and they will be handled here like "Hot Breaking News."
